中国政府に批判的な報道で知られる香港のメディア「リンゴ日報」が発行停止となり、今朝最後の朝刊を発行しました。　
Hong Kong media "Apple Daily", known for its criticism of the Chinese government, was suspended and the final edition was published this morning.
今朝、香港市内の売店には「最後の紙面」を買い求める客が行列を作りました。
This morning, customers lined up at a store in Hong Kong to buy the "last page".
1面には「雨の中、香港の人にお別れする」と書かれています。　
On the first page was the words "Goodbye Hong Kong people in the rain."
また、「リンゴ日報と新聞の自由は暴政の犠牲となった」「また会いましょう」と再び新聞を作りたいという気持ちがにじむ文章が掲載されています。

リンゴ日報は1995年に創刊され、今月、編集長ら5人が外国勢力と結託した「国家安全維持法違反」の疑いで逮捕され、関連会社の資産も凍結されました。　
Apple Daily was first published in 1995, and this month, five editors-in-chief were arrested on suspicion of "violating the National Security Law" of colluding with foreign powers, and the assets of the affiliated companies were frozen.
従業員が大量に辞職したことなどから発行停止を決めました。　
They decided to stop the release because of a large number of employees resigning.
最後の朝刊は、通常よりも多い約100万部が印刷されました。
The morning edition eventually printed about 1 million copies, more than usual.
