東京・武蔵野市の井の頭自然文化園で二ホンリス31匹が死んでいたことが分かりました。
Thirty-one Japanese squirrels were found dead at Inokashira Nature and Culture Park in Musashino City, Tokyo.
寄生虫駆除の薬で中毒になった可能性があります。　
They may have been poisoned by anti-parasitic drugs.
東京動物園協会によりますと、井の頭自然文化園は4日、飼育していたニホンリス40匹にダニの被害がみられたため、リスの背中に寄生虫を駆除する薬2種類をつけ、巣箱などに殺虫剤1種類を散布しました。

リスを巣箱に戻すとその日のうちにリス1匹が死に、9日までに合わせて31匹のリスが死んだということです。　
When the squirrels were returned to the nesting box, one squirrel died on the same day and by day 9, a total of 31 squirrels had died.
園は「薬はそれぞれ過去に使用実績があったが、3種類の薬を掛け合わせたのは初めてだった」「用法に基づいて使用したが、中毒の可能性も否定できない」としています。　
"Although each drug has been used before, this is the first time these three drugs have been combined together," Garden said, “Although the medication was used as directed, the possibility of poisoning cannot be ruled out.”
巣箱は洗浄済みで残り9匹については体調が安定しています。
