秋篠宮ご夫妻の次女・佳子さまが、緑化推進などに貢献した人を表彰する式典に出席し、あいさつされました。　
Princess Kako, the second daughter of the Akishino grandparents, attended a ceremony to honor those who have contributed to the greening process, and sent greetings.
「多くの役割を担うかけがえのない『みどり』を引き継いでいくためには、私たち一人ひとりが『みどり』の大切さを認識することが大事であると感じています」　
"I feel that it is important for each of us to realize the importance of 'greening' in order to take on 'greening' which plays multiple, irreplaceable roles in life."
佳子さまは、今日午前、東京・千代田区のホールで開かれた「第31回森と花の祭典みどりの感謝祭」に出席し、祭典の名誉総裁としてあいさつされました。　
Princess Kako attended the "31st Midori Forest and Flower Festival Thanksgiving" held at the Chiyoda ward hall, Tokyo this morning, and gave her greetings as the honorary president of the festival.
新型コロナの影響でオンラインでイベントに出席していた佳子さまが宮中での行事や陵墓の参拝などをのぞき、会場に出向かれるのはおよそ2年3カ月ぶりです。　
This is the first time in about two years and three months, Princess Kako, who is attending an online event due to the influence of corona virus, visited the site except for events in the palace and worship at the mausoleum.
「みどりの感謝祭」の式典が開催されるのも3年ぶりで、前回は小室眞子さんが出席しました。
This is the first time in three years that "Thanksgiving Midori" has been held, and the last time Mako Komuro attended.
