アメリカのブリンケン国務長官は緊迫が続くウクライナ情勢について、「ロシアによる軍事行動のリスクは十分高く、脅威は差し迫っている」との認識を示しました。

「きのうキエフの米国大使館に残っている大半の米国人に退避を命令した。ロシアによる軍事行動のリスクは、この措置が賢明と言えるほど高く、脅威は差し迫っている」
"Yesterday, we asked most of the remaining Americans at the US embassy in Kiev to evacuate. The risk of Russian military action is very high so this measure is wise and the threat is imminent.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Antony Blinken held a joint press conference after the Japan-US-Korea Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Honolulu, Hawaii on the 12th,
ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻の可能性について「リスクは十分高く、脅威は差し迫っている」との認識を示しました。　
on the possibility of Russia invading Ukraine, he acknowledged that "the risk is high enough and the threat is imminent."
一方、「外交の道はまだ開かれている」とも述べ、ロシア側に対話による解決を呼び掛けました。　
On the other hand, he said, "The path of diplomacy is still open" and called on the Russian side to resolve the issue through dialogue.
そのうえで「緊張を高めるのではなく、緩和するべきだ」と沈静化に向けて努力するよう訴えました。
He then called for an effort to calm down, saying, "We should ease the tension, not make things worse."
