A memorial service was held this afternoon at the Chidorigafuchi War Cemetery in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.式典では政府の遺骨収集事業により、ロシアや硫黄島で見つかった戦没者の遺骨のうち、身元がわからず遺族に返すことができなかった235柱が加藤厚生労働大臣によって納骨されました。
At the ceremony, among the remains of martyrs found in Russia and Iwo Jima by the government's remains collection project, Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Kato has buried 235 remains unidentified, unable to return to the bereaved family.これまでと合わせて37万485柱になります。
The total number of remains so far is 370,485.その後、初めての参加となる佳子さまが拝礼され、続いて岸田総理大臣らが献花しました。
