三菱UFJフィナンシャル・グループは傘下のアメリカの地方銀行のリテール部門を売却すると発表しました。

取引総額は2兆円規模に上ります。

売却されるのはアメリカ西海岸を中心に展開するユニオンバンクの業務部門の8割余りを占める個人・中小企業向け部門です。

売却先はアメリカの地銀最大手「USバンコープ」で、取引総額は2兆円規模に上ります。

ユニオンバンクはバブル期の1980年代に旧三菱銀行や旧東京銀行が買収しましたが、
