ウクライナ侵攻を受けてアメリカのスポーツ用品大手「ナイキ」がロシアでの事業から完全撤退することが分かりました。
ナイキはすでに3月にロシア国内に所有する店舗の営業を一時停止していましたが、23日までにロシア事業の完全撤退を決めたとロイター通信などが報じました。
「私たちの優先事項は今後数カ月をかけて事業を縮小する間、従業員のサポートを確実にすることだ」としています。
ナイキはロシア国内でおよそ100店舗を所有していますが、売上としては世界全体の1％未満であることから、今回の決定はメッセージ性を重視したものとみられています。
ウクライナ侵攻を受けて、ロシアからはこれまでもマクドナルドやスターバックスなど欧米の大手企業が次々と撤退しています。
