政府が公表した指針では、来年7月から有料化を義務付けるプラスチック製のレジ袋について「1円未満は有料化にあたらない」として、1枚あたり1円以上にすることを求めています。

また、客がレジ袋を辞退した場合に値引きやポイントを付与するだけでは有料化したことにならないとしています。
If customer refuses to get a plastic bag, just by providing the discount code and point, he will not have to pay for the bags.
一方、厚みがあって繰り返し使えるものや、植物由来の原料が一定程度使われているなど、環境への負荷が少ないレジ袋は有料化の対象から除外します。
