大手コーヒーチェーンのスターバックスはプラスチックカップで提供していたアイスコーヒーとアイスティーについて、ストローを使わなくても飲めるふたを付けた紙製のカップでの提供を始めました。
これまで一部店舗で行っていましたが、全国の約1600店舗に拡大します。
紙製のカップへの変更で年間約6100万杯のプラスチックカップが減らせるということです。
今後はスターバックスラテやアイスココアやミルクなどの商品も対象となる予定です。
