The Public Security Intelligence Agency has determined that, regarding the group Aleph, the second son of former Aum Shinrikyo leader Shoko Asahara real name: Chizuo Matsumoto, former death row inmate claims to be the Guru, meaning religious leader, and is taking the lead in running the organization.
オウム真理教から名前を変えた教団「アレフ」には、無差別の大量殺人などを起こさないよう「団体規制法」に基づく観察処分が適用され、公安調査庁は、拠点や資産などの活動実態を報告するよう義務づけていて、次の期限がことし9月までとなっています
The cult formerly known as Aum Shinrikyo, now called Aleph, is subject to surveillance measures under the Act on the Control of Organizations to prevent indiscriminate mass murder and other crimes. The Public Security Intelligence Agency requires the group to report on the actual status of its activities, including its bases and assets, and the next deadline for this is set for September this year.
こうした中、公安調査庁は「アレフ」について、オウム真理教元代表の麻原彰晃、本名・松本智津夫元死刑囚の次男が宗教指導者を意味する「グル」の2代目を自称し、組織運営を主導するとともに、松本元死刑囚の妻もそれを後見的に補佐する立場にあると認定しました
Amid these circumstances, the Public Security Intelligence Agency has determined that, regarding Aleph, the second son of former Aum Shinrikyo leader Shoko Asahara real name: Chizuo Matsumoto, who was executed, claims to be the second-generation guru meaning religious leader and leads the organization, while Matsumotos wife also plays a supporting, supervisory role.
その上で「アレフ」が必要な報告義務を果たさず、危険性の把握が困難な状況に変化は見られないとして、さらに半年間の再発防止処分の継続を、公安審査委員会に請求しました
On top of that, since Aleph has not fulfilled its required reporting obligations and there has been no change in the situation where it is difficult to grasp the risks, a request was submitted to the Public Security Examination Commission to extend the recurrence prevention measures for another six months.
具体的には、「アレフ」のおよそ20の教団施設のうち、16か所の使用などを半年間禁止する処分を求めています
Specifically, they are seeking a measure to prohibit the use of 16 out of approximately 20 Aleph cult facilities for six months.
また、今回は新たに、東京や大阪など12の都道府県の土地や建物の取得などを禁止する処分も請求しました
Additionally, this time, we have also requested a measure to prohibit the acquisition of land and buildings in 12 prefectures, including Tokyo and Osaka.
請求は今回で7回目で、公安審査委員会は、今後「アレフ」側の意見も聞いて、判断することにしています
This is the seventh request, and the Public Security Examination Commission has decided to listen to Alephs side as well before making a decision.
