警察によりますと、70歳の男性と65歳の男性が手首などを切られて大けがをしたほか、20代から70代の男女4人が軽いけがをしましたが、いずれも命に別状はないということです
According to the police, a 70-year-old man and a 65-year-old man suffered serious injuries after being cut on their wrists and other areas, while four men and women in their 20s to 70s sustained minor injuries, but none of the injuries are life-threatening.
警察はいずれも自称で、現場近くに住む塩原弘和容疑者（48）を殺人未遂の疑いで、その場で逮捕しました

その後の調べで、現場で、特殊な形状をした殺傷力の高いナイフが4本押収されていたことが捜査関係者への取材で分かりました

被害にあった全員が容疑者と面識がないと話しているということで、警察は事前に準備したナイフで通りがかりの人を無差別に襲撃したとみて、詳しい状況を調べています
All of the victims have said that they had no acquaintance with the suspect, so the police believe that the suspect randomly attacked passersby with a knife that had been prepared in advance, and are investigating the details of the situation.
