The Liberal Democratic Party decided at its executive meeting on the 29th to soon hold a General Assembly of Both Houses, the partys decision-making body, in response to calls from within the party following their defeat in the House of Councillors election.
参議院選挙の敗北を受けて、自民党は、28日、両院議員懇談会を4時間半にわたって開き、この中では、党の意思決定機関で責任を問うため「両院議員総会」を開催するよう求める意見が出されました
In response to the defeat in the House of Councillors election, the Liberal Democratic Party held a joint meeting of both houses for four and a half hours on the 28th. また、旧茂木派や旧安倍派などの中堅・若手議員らが、総会の開催を要求するため、署名活動を行っています
