Amidst high prices… Aeon offers affordable prices in Christmas sales
物価高騰のなか、大手スーパーのイオンが比較的手ごろな価格の商品を集め、クリスマス商戦の展開を始めました
As prices soar, major supermarket Aeon has started gathering relatively affordably priced goods as the Christmas sales wars begin to develop.
A majority of the items being sold in the Christmas section at Aeon are from a 100 yen store called “Can Do,” which joined the group last year.
The also increased the number pf Christmas-themed interior items developed in-house, such as trees between 3000 and 4000 yen as well as 600 yen decorations that mimic tree textures.
This year Christmas falls on a weekend, with the 24th and 25th being on Saturday and Sunday, and the number of families and friends throwing parties is expected to increase.
