Prime Minister Kishida: Increase the number of international students to more than 300,000

Until now, the government had said it would increase the number of foreign students studying in Japan to 300,000 per year.
On the 29th, Prime Minister Kishida told Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Nagaoka, ”Please make a new plan to increase the number of international students to more than 300,000.”

日本では来年5月、7つの国などのリーダーが集まるG7の会議を開きます
In May next year, Japan will hold a G7 meeting where leaders from seven countries will gather.
Minister Nagaoka said, ”I have a meeting, so I would like to make a new plan next spring.”
