The two animals were smuggled from Indonesia to Thailand in 2016 and were found in the trunk of a taxi.

　保護ほごされた2頭とうは、覚おぼえやすいようにタイでも人気にんきの「ドラえもん」にちなみ、「ノビタ」と「シズカ」と名付なづけられたとういことです

The two rescued animals have been named ”Nobita” and ”Shizuka” after ”Doraemon”, which is also popular in Thailand, to make it easier to remember.
