社民党の福島みずほ党首が中国を訪れ、序列4位の王滬寧常務委員と会談しました。
Mizuho Fukushima, leader of the Social Democratic Party, visited China and met with Wang Haining, the fourth-ranking member of the Standing Committee.
福島氏はビザの取得条件の緩和と、拘束されている日本人の解放を訴えました。
Ms. Fukushima called for the easing of visa conditions and the release of detained Japanese citizens.
「ビザについての緩和が今後、進んでいくことになるんじゃないかということを強く期待している」
“I very much hope that visa restrictions will be eased in the future.”
中国に渡航する際のビザの取得条件の緩和を求めた福島党首に対し、中国側は日本にも「相応の行動」を求めたということです。　
In response to Fukushima's request to relax visa conditions upon arrival in China, China asked Japan to take "appropriate action."
福島党首は「人的往来を活発にすることは一致しているので緩和に手応えを感じた」としています。　
Party leader Fukushima stated that she felt a response to the easing of the situation, as the parties are united in their efforts to stimulate human traffic. 　
また、拘束されている日本人の解放については、中国側は「法にのっとって処理をしている」と答えるにとどまりました。　
Regarding the release of the detained Japanese nationals, the Chinese side only replied, "We are handling the matter in accordance with the law”.
社民党としての訪中団の派遣は10年ぶりです。
It has been 10 years since the Social Democratic Party sent a delegation to China.
