中国・上海市当局は「コロナの感染予防に効果がある」と誤解を与える広告を出したとして、ヤクルトのグループ会社「上海ヤクルト」に対して罰金を科しました。
上海市当局によりますと、上海ヤクルトはヤクルトに含まれる成分が新型コロナウイルスへの予防に効果があると消費者が誤解するような宣伝をし、売り上げを不当に伸ばしたということです。
これにより先月、45万元、日本円にして約750万円の罰金を科したとしています。
上海ヤクルトは今月7日に声明を発表し、「上海市内にあるスーパーで誤解を与える表現が掲載された宣伝パンフレットが配られた」と誇大広告の事実を認めました。
さらに「消費者に通報された後、すぐに回収したが、消費者の誤解を招き深く反省している」と謝罪しています。
