The Israeli army announced that it has so far killed 12 Hamas commanders.
イスラエル軍のガラント国防相は4日に会見を開き、ガザ市内への地上部隊の侵攻は順調に進んでいて、「これまでに12人のハマスの司令官を殺害した」と発表しました。　
Israeli Defense Minister Galant held a press conference on the 4th and announced that the ground force invasion of Gaza City was progressing smoothly and that to date, “12 Hamas commanders have been killed
同日、ハガリ報道官も地上部隊は「すべての戦闘で主導権を握っている」と報告しました。　
On the same day, Spokesperson Hagari also reported that ground forces are "taking the initiative in all battles".
一方、イスラム組織ハマスはガザ地区で拘束していた200人余りの人質のうち60人以上がイスラエル軍のガザ地区への空爆により、行方不明になっていると明らかにしました。　
Meanwhile, the Islamist organization Hamas revealed that more than 60 of the more than 200 hostages it was holding in the Gaza Strip were missing due to Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
また、捜索の結果、23人の人質の遺体ががれきの下敷きになっているとが分かったとも主張しています。　
They also claimed that a search revealed the bodies of 23 hostages buried under the rubble.
イスラエル側とパレスチナ側の死者は合わせて1万800人以上となっています。
The total number of deaths on both Israeli and Palestinian sides is more than 10,800 people.
