高速・大容量の次世代の情報通信基盤「IOWN」を活用して離れた場所にいる人同士がeスポーツやダンスなどを楽しむ初めてのイベントが開かれました。　
The first event where people in remote locations enjoyed e-sports and dancing with each other using IOWN, a high-speed, large-capacity, next-generation information and communication infrastructure, was held.
IOWNは次世代の通信規格「6G」の土台となるもので、NTTの光技術を使っています。　
IOWN is the foundation for the next-generation "6G" communications standard, which uses NTT's optical technology.
通信による遅れが通常の回線の200分の1と、ほとんど感じられないのが特徴で、今月16日からサービスが始まりました。　
The service started on the 16th of this month, featuring almost imperceptible delays due to communication, at 1/200th of a regular line.
会場では、それぞれ離れた場所にいるプロゲーマーら3人が連携してeスポーツのシューティングゲームを行いました。　
At the venue, three professional gamers and others, each in a remote location, worked together to play an e-sports shooting game.
「本当に遅延を全く感じない、これが遠隔操作といわれても知らない人が触っても全然分からないかなというレベルで、遅延なく快適にプレーすることができました」　
"I really didn't feel any delay, even though it's remote control, I can still play comfortably, without feeling so much delay that I can't feel other people's touch."
また、ダンスや音楽では、指導者が生徒と離れた場所にいても同じ場所にいるかのようにレッスンできます。　
Also, in dance and music, the instructor can be far away from the student and still give lessons as if they were in the same place.
NTTはIOWNについて世界各国の企業などと連携し、2030年ごろの世界標準化を目指しています。
NTT is collaborating with companies and other organizations around the world on IOWN, aiming for global standardization around 2030.
