FIFAワールドカップ2022カタール大会で活躍したサッカー日本代表が総理官邸を訪れ、岸田総理大臣と面会しました。　
The Japan national football team, who took an active part in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, visited the Prime Minister's Office and met with Prime Minister Kishida.
「本当に世界中をびっくりさせたと思いますし、間違いなく日本の多くのファンが勇気と元気を与えて頂いた感謝の気持ちでいっぱいだと思います」　
"I think we've really surprised the world, and certainly many Japanese fans are extremely grateful for the courage and energy the team has given them."
総理官邸には岸田総理と親交のある森保監督のほか、キャプテンの吉田選手ら18人の選手が訪れました。　
18 players visited the Prime Minister's office, including Coach Moriyasu, Prime Minister Kishida's close friend, and captain Yoshida.
岸田総理は「素晴らしく元気と勇気をもらった。今後の皆さんの活躍を心から期待したい」などと述べ、健闘をたたえました。　
Prime Minister Kishida said: "I have been wonderfully energized and encouraged. I sincerely hope that you will continue to do well in the future", he also commended the team for their efforts.
面会後、森保監督は「普段やってることを発揮すれば世界と戦えることを国民の皆さんにもお伝えできた」と語りました。
After the meeting, Moriyasu said, “We were able to show the Japanese people that we can compete with the world if we show what we usually do.”
