目が不自由な人をスマートフォンでサポートするサービスの実証実験が今日、首都圏で始まりました。
「いかがなさいましたか？」
「横断歩道を渡ったら、点字ブロックが切れた」
「周辺を確認したいのでカメラの向きを右側に・・・。大江戸線の駅、確認できました」
スマートフォンの専用アプリでオペレーターにつながると、カメラの映像とGPSの位置情報を使って道案内や買い物、お出掛け前の身だしなみチェックなどをサポートしてもらえます。
システムを運用するプライムアシスタンスは今日から視覚障害者団体や点字図書館などと協力して実証実験をし、10月からのサービス開始を目指しています。
