5日から世界100カ国以上で提供が始まった新たなアプリ「スレッズ」についてメタのザッカーバーグCEOは10日、「登録者数が1億人に到達しました」とスレッズに投稿しました。
Meta CEO Zuckerberg posted on Threads on the 10 about the new app Threads, which was launched in more than 100 countries on the 5 saying, "We have reached 100 million registered users".
「まだ多くのプロモーションを行っていないなかで、5日で達成したのは信じられない！」とコメントしています。　
"I can't believe we've reached this milestone in 5 days when we haven't done a lot of promotions!" he said.
こうしたスレッズの急速な拡大を受けて、メタの株価は前日の終値に比べて一時3％近く上昇しました。　
In the wake of Threads' rapid expansion, Meta's stock price is temporarily up nearly 3% from the previous day's closing price.
また、イーロン・マスク氏の買収から混乱が続くツイッターとの競争が激化しています。　
The company is also facing increased competition from Twitter, which is still in turmoil from the acquisition of Elon Musk.
アメリカの調査会社によりますと、スレッズの開始から最初の2日間ではツイッターへのアクセス数などを表す数値が前の週の同じ曜日の2日間よりも5％減少し、前年の同時期と比べると11％減ったということです。
According to the American research firm, in the first two days after the launch of Threads, visits to Twitter and other metrics are 5% lower than two days ago last week and 11% lower than the same period last year.
