午前9時半ごろ、愛子さまは飛鳥時代から鎌倉時代にかけて伊勢神宮に仕えた女性の宮殿などを指す、「斎宮」の歴史を伝える博物館を訪問されました。　
At around 9:30 a.m., Princess Aiko visited a museum telling the history of Saiku, which mentioned the palaces of the women who served the Ise Grand Shrine from the Asuka period to the Kamakura period.
博物館をご覧になる前、訪問を歓迎する小学生らに愛子さまが歩み寄り、声掛けをされる一幕もありました。　
Before visiting the museum, Princess Aiko walked up to the elementary school students who were greeting them and talked to them.
愛子さまは、「斎宮」を復元した模型を見ながら発掘調査について説明を受けられました。　
Princess Aiko was explained about the excavation survey while viewing the restored Saiku model.
その後、平安時代の文化などに触れることができる施設を訪問し、ぴったりと合う貝を探す「貝覆い」と呼ばれる古代の遊びを地元の小学生と一緒に体験されました。
She then visits a facility where Heian period culture can be experienced and experiences an ancient game called "Kaikamaki", searching for seashells that fit perfectly with local elementary school students.

午前9時半ごろ、愛子さまは飛鳥時代から鎌倉時代にかけて伊勢神宮に仕えた女性の宮殿などを指す、「斎宮」の歴史を伝える博物館を訪問されました。
