アメリカ産牛肉に対する緊急輸入制限が発動される可能性が高まっています。

アメリカ産牛肉の輸入では、国内の畜産業を保護するため輸入量が基準を超えた場合に関税が上がる仕組み「セーフガード」が導入されています。

オーストラリアが干ばつの影響で牛肉の生産量を減らしたほか、去年、日米貿易協定が発効して関税が下がったことでアメリカ産牛肉の輸入が増えたため、今月中に基準を超える見通しです。
