アメリカのSNSサイト「フェイスブック」から流出した5億人分を超える個人情報が主にハッカー向けのウェブサイトに公開されているということです。
アメリカのメディアなどによりますと、流出したのは過去にフェイスブックに登録した100カ国以上、5億人を超える個人情報です。
ログイン認証にも使われる電話番号やメールアドレスのほか、氏名や経歴、誕生日などがハッカー向けのサイトに公開されているのが確認されたということです。
専門家はこうした情報から個人が特定され、詐欺事件につながる可能性を懸念しています。
公開された個人情報は過去に流出したデータだと指摘されていますが、フェイスブックの公式の発表はまだ出ていません。
