規制委員会が了承した新しい制度では、30年を超えて運転をしようとする原発については、電力会社に30年から先の10年ごとに施設管理計画を提出させ、その都度、認可します。　
Under the new system approved by the Regulatory Commission, for nuclear power plants intended to operate after 30 years, power companies will have to submit facility management plans for every 10 years after 30 years, this plan will be approved each time.
ただ60年を超える運転を目指す原発については、設計の古さも問題になるため、どの程度厳しくするか継続して審議します。
