グーグルはおととし、手首に着けて運動量などを計るウェアラブル端末の会社「フィットビット」の買収を表明しました。

グーグル側から申し出のあった少なくとも10年間、ウェアラブル端末による健康データを広告に利用しない、などの条件を満たすよう求めました。
But at the same time the Commission also requires that for at least 10 years since an application from Google was submitted, they can not use health data from wearable devices for advertising.
フィットビットの買収を巡っては、膨大な健康データがグーグルに渡り、市場が独占されるとの懸念からEUなど各国で審査が行われてきました。
