10月の台風19号で浸水被害に遭った福島県郡山市にある日立製作所の事業所がほとんどの事業を移転することが分かりました。
Most facilities in Hitachi's sales office in Koriyama City, Fukushima City that suffered from flood damage caused by the typhoon No. 19 in October, will be relocated.
郡山市では台風19号による大雨で郡山中央工業団地が浸水被害に遭いました。
In Koriyama city, heavy rain due to typhoon No. 19 caused flood damage to the Koriyama Central industrial area.
団地内の日立製作所郡山事業所も生産設備などが浸水し、今も一部しか再開していません。
The production facilities and other facilities in the Hitachi Koriyama Factory in the industrial area were flooded, and only partially now are reopened.
日立製作所によりますと、従業員の安全と製品の安定的な供給のため郡山事業所の大半の事業を移転し、一部は終了するということです。
According to Hitachi, more than a half of business offices at Koriyama Factory will be relocated and some will be closed to ensure employee safety and a stable supply of products.
大規模な移転に伴い、約300人いる従業員のほとんどが異動します。
Along with such a large relocation, about 300 employees will be transferred.
