人手不足による負担を軽くするため、大手コンビニで床掃除などを担う多機能ロボットが導入されました。　
To ease the burden of labor shortages, multifunctional robots have been introduced at major convenience stores to perform tasks such as cleaning floors.
新たに運用が始まったロボットは、ゴミの吸引や拭き掃除などの機能を備えていて今月末までに300店舗で導入されます。　
The newly put into use robots are equipped with functions such as vacuuming and wiping dirt and will be introduced in 300 stores by the end of this month.
1年以内にAIカメラを搭載させ、商品の発注に伴う作業など店長の業務の一部を担う計画です。　
The plan is to equip the robot with an AI camera within a year and take over some of the store manager's duties, such as those related to product ordering.
ロボットが商品棚の様子を録画することで、店長らがリモートでその様子を確認し、商品の補充を指示できるようになるということです。
By having the robot record product shelf status, store managers will be able to remotely check the status and provide product replenishment instructions.

将来的にはロボットが自ら商品の補充を判断する機能の開発も進めるということです。
In the future, the company plans to develop a function for the robot to decide for itself whether to replenish a product or not.
