総務省は2020年度のふるさと納税の寄付総額が6724億9000万円に上ると発表しました。　
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications announced that the total amount of home tax contributions in 2020 amounted to 672.49 billion yen.
寄付の件数も前年度に比べて1.5倍にあたる3488万件以上になりました。　
The number of donations increased to more than 34.88 million, 1.5 times more than the previous year.
いずれも過去最高の記録です。

新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大による巣ごもり需要で、総務省は肉や魚介などの返礼品を自宅で料理する人が増えたとしています。　
The Ministry of Interior and Communications said that the number of people cooking reciprocal dishes such as meat and seafood at home has increased due to the need to isolate at home because of the impact of the new strain of corona virus.
また、九州豪雨などの被災地への支援を目的に寄付する人も増えているということです。
