新型コロナウイルスの感染の広がりによって旅行需要が激減した影響で旅行最大手「JTB」の2020年度の決算は過去最大の1051億円の最終赤字となりました。
今年3月までの1年間の決算でJTBの売上高は3721億円と前の年より約7割減少し、最終損益は1051億円の赤字でした。　
これまで6500人の人員削減を計画していましたが、削減数を約7200人に増やすほか、従業員の年収を3割減らすため、今年の夏と冬のボーナスは支給しない方針です。　
JTBでは需要が徐々に戻るとみていて、今年度は黒字化を見込んでいます。
