中東の紅海にあるリゾート沖で、観光ボートが炎上し、イギリス人観光客3人が行方不明になっています。　
Three British tourists are missing after their tourist boat caught fire off a resort in the Red Sea in the Middle East.
地元メディアによりますと、エジプトの紅海に面するリゾート地、マルサアラム近くの海上で11日、イギリス人観光客とクルーなど計27人を乗せたボートが炎上しました。　
According to local media, a boat carrying 27 people, including British tourists and crew members, caught fire at sea near Marsa Alam, a resort area on the Red Sea in Egypt, on the 11.
多くは救助されたものの、イギリス人3名が行方不明となっていて現在も捜索が続けられています。　
Many people were rescued, but three British nationals are still missing and a search is ongoing.
船はスキューバダイビングのためチャーターされていたもので、この日は、7日間の日程の最終日でした。　
The boat had been chartered for scuba diving, and this was the last day of a seven-day itinerary.
当局の発表によると、火災はエンジンルームで発生し電気系統の故障が原因である可能性が高いということです。　
Authorities say the fire started in the engine compartment and was most likely caused by an electrical failure.
3日前には、同じく紅海のリゾート地として人気のハルガダでロシア人男性がサメに襲われ死亡していて、地元紙は「2つの不幸な出来事は、回復途中にある観光業への打撃となった」と伝えています。
Three days earlier, a Russian man was attacked and killed by a shark in Hurghada, another popular Red Sea resort, and the local newspaper reported that “the two unfortunate events were a blow to the tourism industry, which is in the process of recovery”.
