北京では11日から公共施設の利用時に新型コロナワクチンの接種が義務化される予定でしたが、市民からの批判の高まりを受け事実上の撤回に追い込まれました。

北京市当局は6日の発表で、教育機関やスポーツ施設、娯楽施設の利用にあたり11日からワクチン接種証明の提示を義務付けました。

これに対し、市民からは「接種を強制するつもりなのか」といった声が相次ぎました。

批判の高まりを考慮したのか共産党系の北京日報は7日、「個人の意思による接種の原則を堅持する」との当局関係者の見解を報じました。
Perhaps in consideration of the growing criticism, the Communist Party-affiliated Beijing Daily reported on the 7th that an official of the authorities said, “We will adhere to the principle of inoculation by individual will”.
そのうえで、PCR検査の陰性証明を提示し体温検査などを行えば公共施設の利用が可能との認識も示し、ワクチン接種の義務化を事実上撤回しました。
They then also expressed their recognition that public transport can be used if they can present a certificate of negative PCR test and body temperature check, the government also withdrew the mandatory vaccination requirement.
