イタリアの総選挙は開票が進み、右派連合の勝利が確実となりました。
右派「イタリアの同胞」のメローニ党首は勝利宣言をしています。
イタリア国営メディアの出口調査などによりますと、「イタリアの同胞」を中心とする右派連合が上下両院で過半数の議席を獲得することが確実となりました。
「イタリアの同胞」のメローニ党首は「これはゴールではなくスタートだ」と勝利宣言しました。
メローニ氏はイタリア初の女性首相になるという見方が強まっています。
メローニ氏は過去に、ムッソリーニが率いた「ファシスト党」の流れをくむ政党の、青年組織に加わっていて、EU＝ヨーロッパ連合に懐疑的な姿勢も見せていました。
