10万匹に1匹という非常に珍しい亀の赤ちゃんが話題になっています。

スイスの熱帯水族館で子どもたちの視線を集めているのは、絶滅危惧種にも指定されている「ガラパゴスゾウガメ」の赤ちゃん2匹です。　
At a tropical aquarium in Switzerland, two "Galapagos elephant turtles", also classified as endangered, are attracting children's eyes.
3日から初めて公開され、そのうち1匹は先天的に色素がない「アルビノ」と呼ばれる白い個体で、一躍注目の的となりました。

2月に親ガメが5つの卵を産み、先月、そのうち2つから赤ちゃんガメが誕生しました。

熱帯水族館のスタッフは、白い亀が産まれるのは10万匹に1匹の確率だと、驚きを隠せない様子です。
