金子総務大臣は10月に大規模な通信障害を起こしたNTTドコモから再発防止策の実施状況の報告を受けたことを明らかにし、引き続き注視していく考えを示しました。

NTTドコモは10月にネットワーク工事を原因とした通信障害を起こし、延べ1200万人以上の通話やデータ通信に影響が出ました。

NTTドコモが今月27日に提出した総務省への報告によりますと、工事手順の見直しや利用者への周知についてもルールを改善するということです。
