NTT東日本と西日本は固定電話を利用した特殊詐欺の被害が減らないことを受け、掛かってきた番号を表示する「ナンバーディスプレー」機能の提供を無償化します。
特殊詐欺対策として、70歳以上の高齢者がいる世帯などを対象に5月から無償化されるのは、掛かってきた電話番号を表示するナンバーディスプレー機能の提供などです。
また、詐欺の危険性を察知する「特殊詐欺対策サービス」も人数を限定して一部、無償化されます。
このサービスは固定電話に録音された通話データをAIが解析し、詐欺などの疑いがある場合、登録した電話番号などに注意喚起を通知するサービスです。
NTT東日本は「犯罪被害に固定電話が使われているのは残念。警察などと協力しながらしっかりと対応したい」としています。
