気象庁が提供する災害情報の「緊急速報メール」のうち、大雨や火山の噴火などに関する特別警報の配信を12月末に終了する方針を決めたことが分かりました。
気象庁は18日、携帯電話各社のサービスを利用した「緊急速報メール」の配信について、火山の噴火や大雨、暴風、高潮、波浪、暴風雪、大雪に関する特別警報について、12月末に終了する考えを明らかにしました。
多くの自治体は、土砂災害や避難所の情報などで地域を絞り込んで提供しています。
一方、緊急速報メールは都道府県単位で配信されているため、今後は「地域をより絞った情報提供に力を注ぎたい」としています。
また、リアルタイムで危険度の情報を提供している「キキクル」を自動的に通知できるよう強化していきたいとしています。
緊急速報メールのうち、緊急地震速報と津波・大津波警報は今後も継続されます。
