デジタル庁は政府や自治体が共同で利用できる「ガバメントクラウド」の事業者として、IT企業のさくらインターネットを国内企業として初めて選びました。
The Digital Agency has selected Sakura Internet, an IT company, for the first time in Japan, as the operator of the “Government Cloud,” which can be jointly used by the government and local authorities.

政府が自治体と効率的にシステムを運用できるよう整備を進めるガバメントクラウドを巡っては事業者に求められる条件が厳しく、これまではアマゾンやグーグルなど海外の企業しか選ばれていませんでした。

しかし、クラウド事業の国内基盤の強化を求める声もあり、デジタル庁が今年度から公募条件を緩和したところ、
