中国の通信機器大手「ファーウェイ」の主力スマートフォンが販売停止となっています。
半導体チップを巡るアメリカの制裁が影響したとみられています。
「なぜ品切れに？チップがないからだ」
ファーウェイのハイエンドスマホ、Mate40シリーズは多くの店舗で品切れとなっていて、公式ウェブサイトでも7日までに販売が停止されています。
Mate40はファーウェイ独自のチップを使用していますが、アメリカの制裁によって製造を委託する台湾企業からの追加調達が困難になっていました。
後継機種であるMate50シリーズについても去年予定されていた製品発表が延期されたままで、必要なチップを確保できていないとの指摘が出ています。
