今朝早く、中国・上海市で石油化学工場の一部が爆発し、少なくとも1人が死亡しました。　
Early this morning, part of a petrochemical plant in Shanghai, China, exploded, killing at least one person.
上海市の空に立ち上る火柱と爆発音をカメラが捉えました。　
The camera recorded the explosion and the pillar of fire rising in the sky over Shanghai.
地元の消防などによりますと、午前4時半ごろ、上海市南部にある石油化学工場で爆発が起こり、工場内に火が燃え広がりました。　
According to local fire authorities, an explosion occurred at a petrochemical plant in the southern city of Shanghai at around 4:30 a.m., and the fire spread inside the plant.
この火災で、少なくとも1人が死亡したということです。　
At least one person was killed in the fire.
原因は分かっていませんが、火の勢いは制御できているとしています。　
The cause is unknown, but the extent of the fire is said to be under control.
火災が起きた現場は中国最大の石油化学企業の一つである「上海石化」の工場で、地元メディアは数キロ先まで煙の臭いが広がっていると報じています。
The site of the fire was at the factory of Shanghai Petrochemical Company, one of China's largest petrochemical companies, and local media reported that the smell of smoke had spread several kilometers away.
