現地メディアによりますと、1日、東ジャワ州のスタジアムで開催されたサッカーの決勝戦で負けた地元チームのサポーターが腹を立ててグラウンドになだれ込み、暴れ出しました。

警察が鎮圧のために催涙ガスを使ったところ、多くの人が出口に殺到し、大混乱になったということです。
