日本の観光をPRするタイ最大級の旅行イベントが開かれました。記録的な円安を追い風にインバウンド回復を目指しています。　
6日、首都バンコクで開幕した旅行イベントは、3日間で5万人以上の来場者を見込んでいます。　
旅行会社や宿泊施設のほか、日本の各自治体がブースを出展し、地域の魅力をPRしました。　
主催者によりますと、タイ人観光客に最近特に人気なのは、長野県の上高地や岐阜県の白川郷で、美しい自然や昔ながらの風景を求めて訪れる人が増えているということです。　
今年、日本を訪れたタイ人観光客の数は記録的な円安も追い風となり、コロナ禍前のおよそ7割にまで回復していて、イベントを通じてさらに増やしていきたい考えです。
