神奈川県小田原市の地下街やマンホールに機動戦士ガンダムが現れました。
馬にまたがっているのは人気アニメ「機動戦士ガンダム」です。
小田原駅の地下街の階段には小田原城の天守閣や城門などと一緒にデザインされたガンダムのアートが出現しました。
地下街では5種類のアートが楽しめます。
「機動戦士ガンダム」の生みの親・富野由悠季さんが小田原市出身で7月に市のふるさと大使に就任したのに合わせ、
市では観光振興プロジェクトの一環としてガンダムを活用した階段アートを設置しました。
このほか、市内2カ所のマンホールのふたもガンダムがデザインされました。
神奈川県では2日から緊急事態宣言が出されるため、小田原市の担当者は「観光客にはコロナが落ち着いてからゆっくり見てほしい」としています。
