タイを訪問中の小倉将信少子化・男女共同参画担当大臣が首都バンコクのスラム地域で女性や子どもへの支援の現状を視察しました。　
National Minister for Gender Equality and Fertility Masanobu Ogura visited Thailand to see the status of supporting women and children in the slums of Bangkok.
バンコク最大のスラム地域、クロントイ地区はおよそ10万人の貧困層が暮らしているとされています。　
Klong Toey, Bangkok's largest slum area, is home to an estimated 100,000 poor people. 　
タイを訪問中の小倉大臣は7日、スラム地区で暮らす女性の仕事や収入確保のために運営されている工房や、子どもたちへの教育の機会を提供しようと開設された図書館を視察し、支援団体と意見交換をしました。　
During his visit to Thailand on the 7th, Minister Ogura inspected a workshop providing employment and income for women living in slums and an open library that provides educational opportunities for children, and exchanges of ideas with support groups.
「子どもが楽しいことをしっかりと大人が後押しをするということが、子どもに関する施策で重要なことだと改めて感じました」

日本政府は、子どもの権利保障や少子化対策など子ども政策を一元化するため、来年4月に「こども家庭庁」を発足させます。
In April of next year, the Japanese government will launch the "Administration for Children and Families" to centralize children's policies, including measures to guarantee children's rights and to combat declining birthrates.
