昨日夜、東京・港区で約1時間にわたり住宅など1600軒余りが停電しました。　
Yesterday evening, more than 1,600 homes in Minato ward, Tokyo were out of power for about an hour.
昨日午後8時20分ごろ、港区の一部で停電が発生しました。
At around 8:20 last night, a power outage occurred in part of Minato ward.
住宅など1620軒が停電し、約1時間で復旧しました。
1620 houses were lost power, and restored about an hour later.
その間、街では信号機や街灯も消え、懐中電灯を持つ住民の姿が見られました。　
During that time, the street lights and raffic lights in town were also turned off, many residents brought flashlights.
「突然です。私らも全然、事情が分からない」
“Sudden power outage. We did not know about this.”
「とてもじゃないけどいられないので、車だったらクーラー付いて全然いいから」　
"It wasn't too hot but I couldn't stay at home so it's good to be in a car with the cooler.”
東京電力によりますと、配電線のトラブルが原因ということで、今も詳しく調査中です。
According to Tokyo Electric Power Company, the cause of the power outage was due to a problem with the power supply line, and they are still investigating.
