KDDIやソフトバンクなど通信事業を行う21社は、NTTによる総務省幹部への接待がドコモの完全子会社化に影響したか、真相を究明するよう総務省に求めました。

21社が提出した意見書では、NTTの経営陣による接待によってドコモの完全子会社化への総務省の対応がゆがめられたのではないかとの疑いが生じていると指摘しています。

そのうえで、総務省が設置した第三者委員会で真相を究明するよう要望しました。
Then, they also asked a third-party committee set up by the Ministry of the Interior and Communications to investigate the truth.
さらに、総務省の有識者会議でも改めて議論し、結果がまとまるまではさらなる再編を進めないよう求めています。　
In addition, they discussed again at the expert meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications, asked not to re-discuss until the results have been compiled.
これに対し、NTTは「ドコモの完全子会社化により、競争に与える影響はなく、漠然とした懸念に基づき、新たな規制を設けることは適当ではない」とコメントしました。
In response, NTT said, " Making DoCoMo a wholly owned subsidiary does not affect competition, and it is not appropriate to establish new rules based on vague concerns."
