東京オリンピック・パラリンピックで大会の準備や運営に携わってきた組織委員会が30日、解散しました。　
The Organizing Committee, which was involved in the preparation and management of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, was dissolved on the 30th.
「あれだけ状況が困難にあってもやっぱり日本だからやれたんだという大きな評価を頂いたということは、職員の皆さんが日々努力をして下さったそのたまものだというふうに思っております」

組織委員会は2014年1月に発足しました。　
Organizing Committee was established in January 2014.
およそ8年半にわたり都や政府、JOCなどをつなぐ役割を担い最盛期にはおよそ7000人の職員が大会の運営を支えてきました。　
For about 8 and a half years, the committee acted as a liaison between the capital, the government, the JOC, etc., and at its peak, about 7,000 staff members supported the operation of the tournament.
橋本会長は解散にあたりコロナ禍で史上初の大会延期になったことなどを振り返り、都庁に集まった職員らに感謝を伝えました。　
In dissolving the meeting, Chairman Hashimoto reflected on the postponement of the convention for the first time in its history due to the corona disaster, and expressed his gratitude to the officials gathered at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office.
7月からは20人ほどで債権や債務などの清算業務を行います。
From July, only about 20 employees will be in charge of payment of receivables and debts.
