この寺のアジサイは、30年ほど前に地元の住民が「アジサイの名所」にしようと植えたことがきっかけで、今では毎年この時期になると多くの観光客が訪れる「アジサイ寺」として有名になっています。

今朝も境内には次々と観光客が訪れ、散策をしたり写真を撮ったりして楽しんでいました。
