JR九州によります、大雨の影響で鹿児島県を通る在来線は指宿枕崎線を除くすべての路線で8日の始発から運転を取りやめています。

いずれの路線もすべての区間で運転見合わせとなっています。
Train services have been suspended on the following lines: - Kagoshima Main Line Kawauchi to Kagoshima-Chuo - Nippo Main Line Minami-Miyazaki to Kagoshima-Chuo - Hisatsu Line Yoshimatsu to Hayato - Kitto Line Yoshimatsu to Miyakonojo - Nichinan Line Tayoshi to Shibushi All sections of these lines have suspended operations.
九州自動車道 鹿児島IC～栗野IC 上下線で通行止め
西日本高速道路によりますと、九州自動車道は雨のため、鹿児島県の鹿児島インターチェンジと栗野インターチェンジの間の上下線で通行止めとなっています。
The Kyushu Expressway is closed in both directions between Kagoshima IC and Kurino IC due to rain, according to West Nippon Expressway Company.
肥薩おれんじ鉄道 一時運転見合わせ
肥薩おれんじ鉄道は、大雨の影響で、熊本県の八代駅と鹿児島県の川内駅の間の全線で上下線とも始発から運転を見合わせていましたが、午前7時半すぎに運転を再開しました。
Hisatsu Orange Railway: Temporary Suspension of Operations Due to heavy rain, the Hisatsu Orange Railway had suspended all train services in both directions between Yatsushiro Station in Kumamoto Prefecture and Sendai Station in Kagoshima Prefecture since the first train of the day, but operations resumed shortly after 7:30 a.m.
